I'm also available to host your reception too! If you need an MC to take the pressure off you by making sure things are running on time, introduce speeches and ultimately keep the energy of the evening the way you want it, then I'd be more than happy to make this happen! If you have any other ideas I'd love to hear them too - eg. sing a song? tell a story? play a character!?

How much?

  • $450 (or $400 if you have hired me as you celebrant for your wedding or other ceremony before the reception too)

  • Deposit of $150 required to secure booking, remainder to be paid by 14 days prior to the ceremony

  • For travel MORE than 100km (round trip) from my home in Singleton, it will be $25 per 50km extra (already covered by ceremony payment if you have me for both)


  • 1 prior meeting to run through your plans/run sheet for the event.

  • Availability of up to 6 hours for hosting your event (extra charges for additional time).

    • For example: A wedding reception: 5pm-11pm, introducing bridal party entrances, introducing speeches, informing guests of general “housekeeping” matters etc – whatever you need. You can utilise me in a hosting capacity as much or as little as you’d like!

  • Provision of my own PA system for hosting/speeches if required.

  • Constant availability during the event to liaise with you or any event coordinators to ensure everything is running on time and smoothly.

  • A clear, energetic, professional public speaker that will adapt to the vibe of your event.

  • Special requests welcome!

  • Basically, I’m there to publicly keep your guests informed of what’s going on throughout the event, make sure everything is going to plan, and keeping the energy of the event exactly how you’d like it to be.


  • A money saving idea for music: if you’ve decided to cut costs by not having a DJ or live music but would still like a dance floor with a party atmosphere, often people have utilised me as a really basic “budget DJ”. All you would need to do is hire a high quality speaker that is made to play loud music, I’d plug my laptop in and start/stop your playlist throughout the event and even take requests. Of course it won’t have all the bells and whistles of a regular DJ with all the high tech gear, remixes and song fade outs etc, but it really is a great option if you’re on a budget but still want to party! (believe me, I did exactly this at my own wedding and it was so much fun! – Yep, I was the “DJ” at my own wedding)
